Ethiopia’s coffee exports generated $1.8 billion in revenue in the fiscal year (2024/25). The country is aiming for $2 billion in revenue from coffee exports in the current fiscal year by exporting over 400,000 tons according to ENA English. This demonstrates a significant increase in both volume and revenue compared to previous years.
Increased Export Volume The country exported 354,000 tons of coffee during this period of 10 months, marking a significant increase in volume compared to the previous year.
Key Export Destinations are Germany, the United States, and Saudi Arabia are among the top buyers of Ethiopian coffee. Other major destinations include Belgium, China, South Korea, and Japan according to Food Business Africa.
