Ethiopia is considered the birthplace of coffee Arabica. In Ethiopia, we find a fascinating range of enticing aromatics and flavors in the cup. We consider Ethiopian coffees to be some of the best in the world, and the greater genetic diversity of the Ethiopian coffee.
Ethiopian coffee is recognized for its distinct and complex tastes, which are due to the country’s unique growing circumstances and coffee types. Ethiopia is home to numerous diverse coffee-growing areas, each yielding beans with unique flavors.
We provide coffee from the diverse growing regions, from Guji, Sidama and Yirga cheffe / Gedeo zones of the south, to Harar in the east and Jimma, Agaro, Gera, Kaffa and Wollega in the west. Now a time to all this regions have high green cherries that will be crop on 2017 E.C production year. Ethiopia, known as the origin of Arabica coffee, is one of Arfasa’s top producers and exporters of the company. Coffee cultivation is regarded as the cornerstone of the country’s agriculture-based economy.
Now a time to flowering and green cherries, one of the most beautiful steps in the lifetime of the coffee plant, marks the beginning of the cherry growth. It takes approximately 3 to 4 months after the flowering for the green cherries to grow and another 4 months approximately, for them to be ripe and ready to harvest. Now green cherries are highly produced in different regions in Ethiopia. We are working and take care on green cherries for next new cropping 2024/2025 products. Happy New Ethiopian Year 2017 E.C….!
